Compare Ugaritic 𐎀𐎘𐎚 (ảṯt), Арамејски אִנְתְּתָא(ʾintəṯā), אִיתְּתָא(ʾittəṯā), Арапски أُنْثَى(ʾunṯā).

Pronunciation[уреди]

Origen (first half of the 3rd century A.D.) transcribes it as ἐσσὰ in his Hexapla (Origenis Hexapla, vol. 1, p. lxxii).
