Etymology

From Средњи Енглески Monday, Monenday, from Стари Енглески mōnandæġ (day of the moon), from Пра-Западно Германски *mānini dag, a translation (interpretātiō germānica) of Латински diēs Lūnae, equivalent to Африканс.
